Full day of private training with your AR-15  Cost: $200.00 
  • Equipment required:  Good quality firearm, hearing and eye protection, sling, optic such as a red dot would be desirable, spare magazines either 20 or 30 round, 400 rounds of ammunition.  (Call to discuss prior to purchase of equipment)
  • The student will learn the basic operations, maintenance and history of the AR-15 Carbine and progress quickly through the basic fundamentals of shooting your AR-15.
  • Student will learn to properly sight in their carbine/rifle.
  • Proper equipment and accessories will be discussed.
  • Student will learn the basic shooting positions and many variations of those positions.
  • Malfunctions will be covered and the student will be able to clear various types of stoppages and malfunctions.
  • Shooting on the move will be covered as well as turning movements and target acquisitions.
  • Pistol/Carbine transitions will be covered and when to execute them.
  • Support side transitions and shooting will be covered.
  • Ammunition types and their uses
  • Moving targets will be engaged as well as static steel targets  from 100 yards to 200 yards.
  • If the student wishes to experience night firing, the time and costs can be adjusted.
You would have to take two to three days of training in a multiple student class setting in order to get this amount of instruction. That could cost hundreds of dollars.  This is the most economic and time saving way to learn the proper deployment and maintenance of your AR-15 from basic to advanced application of your weapon.

The Student will learn the following during the days instruction.
  • Equipment required:  Good quality handgun, hearing and eye protection, safe holster, ammunition pouches and spare magazines. (Call and discuss these issues prior to purchase.) 400 rounds of ammunition.
  • Basic firearm safety rules
  • basic operation and maintenance of pistol/revolver.
  • How to determine proper firearm and holster selection.
  • Proper presentment of the firearm to the target.
  • Shooting positions such as standing, sitting, kneeling, prone and moving.
  • Shooting moving targets
  • Shoot-don't-shoot situations
  • Shooting techniques to quickly advance the beginning shooter to a higher level (GUARANTEED OR YOUR MONEY REFUNDED!)
  • If the student wishes to experience night firing, the time and costs can be adjusted.
 One on one instruction will get the student off and running much faster than a multiple student class setting.

Handgun shooting is not learned overnight, but a sound knowledge of the fundamentals learned in a one on one setting will allow the student to advance much more quickly to a higher level than any other method.
